Travel, town stock and delivery cargo

Understand the difference between changing towns and fulfilling a dispatch.

Changing towns

Country shows your current town and the towns whose roads have opened through claimed projects. Town travel takes thirty seconds per step in the listed town order, bounded between thirty seconds and two minutes. Travelling stops foreground work; it is not a free way to run two ordinary work jobs at once.

An active delivery must be completed or recalled before ordinary town travel. Arriving changes the Town overview and local outfitter shelf. Your Stockpile stays with your saved character.

A delivery is a prepared job

Dispatches begin from Foundry Crossing. They reserve an outbound load and return provisions and require the specified mount. Read both legs before launch: return food is part of preparation, not a bill that appears after you leave.

Glasswater uses a loaned or owned horse. Blackpine requires your owned horse. The receipt is earned by collecting the returned cargo; reaching the end of the timer alone does not place it in your Stockpile. A full collection-ready bar therefore stays full.

Care for the horse

Stable care consumes the listed potatoes and foreground work time to restore readiness. Readiness is a resource for the delivery plan; it does not steadily decay while you are absent or doing unrelated work.

Claiming the ownership chapter replaces the loaned horse with the permanent named mount. An ownership record is not a consumable cartridge, ordinary livestock stock or a second independent mount.
